Grouping creators into lists

Making named shortlists of creators by hand, adding and removing members, and why nothing is ever added to a list for you.

A list is a grouping you make and name yourself: a shortlist for a campaign, a set of creators in one region, the people you want to approach next. Membership is explicit.

Nothing is added to a list automatically. No list here is generated from a score or a match, because nothing in this product scores or matches a creator.

BEFORE YOU START

  • The "edit" permission, which is what managing lists needs.
  • Access to the workspace.
  • Creators already recorded in this workspace. A list holds creators; it cannot hold anybody who is not on file.

STEPS

  1. Open Creator lists for the workspace, or go to /app/workspaces/{workspace}/creator-hub/lists.
  2. Give the list a name, and a description if it helps, and create it.
  3. Open the list to see its members.
  4. Choose a creator from the "Add a creator" select and choose "Add to list".
  5. Choose Remove on a row to take somebody off.
  6. Make a second list for a different purpose. A creator can be on as many as you like.

WHAT YOU SHOULD SEE

The list with its members, and a member count. Where a count is not known it says "Not counted" rather than showing zero.

WHAT THIS WILL NOT DO

  • It will not build a list for you from a score, a match or a search.
  • It will not hold a creator from another workspace. Lists are workspace-scoped, and so are creators.
  • It will not send anything to a list. Contacting people is recorded separately and is not sent from here either.
  • It will not rank the members. A list is a set, not an order.

IF IT DOES NOT WORK

  • "Give the list a name to create it." and "Choose a creator to add them to this list." are the two blocked-form hints.
  • "A list with this name already exists in this workspace." means the name is taken.
  • "That creator is not recorded in this list's workspace." means the creator belongs elsewhere.
  • "That creator is not on this list, so nothing was removed."
  • "edit permission required." is the permission refusal.
  • "No lists yet" with "A list is a grouping you make and name yourself - a shortlist for a campaign, a set of creators in one region. Nothing here creates one for you." is the empty state.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can a list drive a campaign?

Not directly. A list is a shortlist you work from; collaborations and outreach are recorded per creator.

Why does a count sometimes say "Not counted"?

Because the count did not come back with the list. That is different from a list with nobody on it, and the page keeps the two apart.
